Today, after completing paperwork for Sophie's visa, we visited the Six Banyan Temple, where all of the Buddhas are. It was a holiday, Tomb Weeping Day, where everyone goes to pray for blessing for their families, dead or alive, and burn incense. Needless to say, it was packed! Some Chinese burn paper clothes, food, money, and even paper cars for their families members to receive in the afterlife, so that they won't be cold or without anything. It is a relief to know we will have bountiful blessings in heaven and that we don't have to worry about our loved ones, and our loved ones won't have to worry about us, once we get to Heaven.
There are no longer six banyan trees there, but only two. We also saw where the people go to study the Buddhist religion. We were told that their books cannot be understood by the average person, i.e., you can't read it on your own. Someone has to tell you what everthing in the books mean. All in all, it was a pretty interesting visit, but made me even more glad to be a Christian!

She is so precious. I know she is worth every second you guys had to wait. We cannot wait to meet her.
